Today we split off into different groups, and began learning different things about the water of Dayton. We discussed everything from where the water goes and how it's treated, to what is used to test the different sources of water. One thing I really learned was that the water we drink here in Dayton is ground water, meaning we drink the water in the aquifers around The Little Miami. This helped me realize just how major it is that we protect our water. We will not only be left with a terrible ecosystem, but our citizens will become heavily sick. This means that every little effort will put into extremely useful circumstances. I must say I am sincerely grateful that I know more about the watershed, and am able to learn and understand the world.
This is the cloud, tall and fluffy.
This is the umbrella that the rain drips off.
It falls in the sewer, old and rusty.
This is the stream, cold and moist that fills up the river.
This is a fish hitting the water, so scaly and hungry as it swims in the river.
This is the river slow and restless.
